Here's a couple of videos that will make uploading files from your computer to the Internet (your website) very simple.
FTP stands for "File Transfer Protocol" which may sound complicated but relax, it's very easy to use.
If you can use "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" then you can FTP.
A number of people specifically want to know how to verify their website by downloading a file from Google and then uploading it to the root directory of their website.
This second video shows exactly how to do that.
If you are watching this video because you're form the "Michael Brown Success System", then you want to unzip the file you were going to upload and there is a folder inside. Upload everything in the folder to the root directory, just like I'm doing with the Google html verification file in this video.
It's the same, exact procedure.
